Why: You do not have the Necessary Permission for the Specified Page to Perform the Requested Action
Did you just receive an error message when browsing to a Facebook web page (perhaps a Facebook Fan Page), and you did nothing to invoke it? The error message is below.
Insufficient Permission
You do not have the necessary permission for the specified Page to perform the requested action.
Some have suggested online to clear your browser cache and cookies – but this does not fix error from re-appearing. From others reporting the error online, it is most likely because of Facebook releasing new beta features on pages you can’t see and otherwise would not have access too.

Me too. Just started today after one of Windows 10's many unwanted updates. Did you find a workaround?

Same here. Very frustrating. Have tried completely logging out and back in again, No good, also restarting compute still no good. Sent screenshot not hopeful of getting a response.
This is what I am getting everytime I try to hide a post. You do not have the necessary permission for the specified Page to perform the requested action.
Facebook is getting to big a major pain in the ass. first by getting stupid errors that they won't respond to, or tell you how to fix. Plus, way too many frigging ads you have to go to and delete as irrelevent..so is FB
Same here: trying to hide an old post from MY FB account...have we lost control of our own account pages?!?! Please HELP!!
You won't get an answer. I've gone through 10 or 11 pages as to this problem. Nobody has an answer. Nothing but people talking about the problem. Even Facebook is worthless as tits on a boar hog. You tell them about the problem in a way where other people can read your questions, but there is never an answer from Facebook. Just bs crap.

I keep getting this too and now my home page is full of stuff I can't delete. I have sent a screenshot to facebook help but they don't respond. I wont be going on facebook now for a week and see what happens.

Yes. I too received the same message. Very frustrating. In the search for answers, I have Facebook telling me I reported a number of ads -- you know, the ones you don't ask for but you fit some vague and irrelevant profile. Asked FB about it but it was like talking to a stone wall.

I'm getting it too. I'm just going to close the FB tab and stay away for a few days. FB depends on our presence to make their money, they'll fix it.
