Did you just receive an error message when browsing to a Facebook web page (perhaps a Facebook Fan Page), and you did nothing to invoke it? The error message is below.
Insufficient Permission
You do not have the necessary permission for the specified Page to perform the requested action.
Some have suggested online to clear your browser cache and cookies – but this does not fix error from re-appearing. From others reporting the error online, it is most likely because of Facebook releasing new beta features on pages you can’t see and otherwise would not have access too.

Happens when I click "Messages" and other Facebook windows.

Same message over and over again on all of the Pages I'm managing for days now !
Tried sending a message to Facebook Help Center but nothing from them yet...not surprised but I have to get back to work somehow, so if you have any solutions, please contact me !
I have been getting this error often on Hallmark M&M. It is constant! It drives me batty. I hope this gets reported and that FB resolves it. I clear my cookies and cache often.
I get this message but only on one Fb page!

I can’t seem to change my business page cover photo for over a year now, infact it’s blank now because I deleted my previous one hoping I would be able to upload a new one. I can’t even promote my page now and Facebook keeps sending me messages that I must add a cover photo to get more results on my ads. This is so annoying because I still get charged for my ads whether they deliver or not.
Just moving the mouse cursor seems to trigger it from time to time. Very annoying that it won't go away without clicking "OKAY!"
I am having the same issue with my favorite facebook site, others not. Facebook, are you planning on a fix for this any time soon? Facebook, can't you see the obvious and answer your own question on this?

For reasons not known I started getting the message " You do not have the Necessary Permission for the Specified Page to Perform the Requested Action " in Dec 2017. I never received this message in the past. As a result I am not able to post any comment , text message or photo or video on FB page.

I am the manager of a relatively popular FB page 280,000+ and in the last 7 days no one can post photos to the page, that insufficient permission message comes up on their end, I changed nothing.
Yes, I am having this problem too on some pages, but not all pages. There are several threads on the FB community question and help page about this issue and FB has offered no explanation about why it's happening and how it can be fixed. In fact, people have been posting about this problem for 2 years and it's still not fixed. Please pull your finger out FB.

But thanks to one of the posters here, I've discovered that it does work if to post from my mobile.

I have been trying to leave a comment on BBC Spotlight Facebook page and I started getting this exact message a week or so ago. I've never had a problem posting before, I don't know why all of a sudden I can't post and this message comes up. Bloody annoying to say the least. Then again, Facebook does some weird things sometimes, I think they've got Mr Bean doing their web design
Its happening with me too, trying to post to a specific page on Facebook, and I get that error.
The only work around is to use the Windows 10 Facebook App, it lets you post on the page your getting the error from.
Yes I keep getting it too, and I can no longer post using my PC only my phone. And of course since there's no one to speak to at FB, they never fix anything!!
