Why: Facebook the Page You Requested Cannot Be Displayed Right Now. (iPhone)
If you clicked a link, profile, or group page in Facebook, you may receive a message about the page cannot be displayed.
The page you requested cannot be displayed right now. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may be broken or expired, or you may not have permission to view this page.
The following explanations may apply in certain cases below.
- If you open a new tab within the Facebook app (thus creating two Facebook app pages, this happens if you click another URL inside the Facebook app) or open a canvas app on your mobile device (iPhone), you will not be able to navigate in the 2nd Facebook app page as the Facebook app does not currently support Page Tab Apps for pages with at least 2000 more followers. See more details in a Facebook post here.
- The Facebook page, profile, or group was recently removed from Facebook or temporarily deactivated by the account holder.
- If the link was originally made public in Facebook, it may have become private in the time you clicked it and you do not have access to view the content.
