You do not have the Necessary Permission for the Specified Page to Perform the Requested Action

Did you just receive an error message when browsing to a Facebook web page (perhaps a Facebook Fan Page), and you did nothing to invoke it? The error message is below.

Insufficient Permission

You do not have the necessary permission for the specified Page to perform the requested action.

Some have suggested online to clear your browser cache and cookies – but this does not fix error from re-appearing. From others reporting the error online, it is most likely because of Facebook releasing new beta features on pages you can’t see and otherwise would not have access too.

Getting this message every time I try posting on the Lego facebook page. They assure me it is nothing they have done and it must be a glitch with factebook itself.

I normally post on the BBC Coventry and Warwickshire facebook page but have been prevented from doing so by this message 'You do not have the necessary permission for the specified Page to perform the requested action'. It's very annoying.

I also get the same message, how do we rid ourselves of this problem.

I suddenly started getting this today but just for a specific page. I can comment but can't post a photo.

It means nothing.
Treat it this way - restless programmers that run the site have nothing better to do, but flash this error just to annoy you - like a little knat buzzing around your nose.

Yes, I am getting this message from some time, too. But I have a much bigger problem with Facebook - I cannot be assgned any role to any other page than my own and this makes it impossible to fulfill my professional obligations! I have reported this many times and nothing!
