Fix: Connection to Your Desktop has been Interrupted – Citrix XenApp

You may experience an error using Citrix Receiver to connect to a Citrix desktop. In addition, your session may freeze or disconnect.

 

Connection to your desktop has been interrupted.

Re-connection to your desktop will occur automatically.

In the event that re-connection fails, or this message remains for many minutes you should call your Help Desk.

 
  1. If you are making a connection with a Thin Client, try using a web browser on a Windows or Mac machine. to see if you receive the error.
 
  1. Ensure your correct VDI Group Policies are applied to your Golden Image.
 
  1. Check to see if you need to increase the Citrix ICA KeepAlive timeouts. See more here.
