Fix: The Parameter is Incorrect - Performance Monitor

If you are trying to connect to a remote host in Windows Performance monitor, you may instantly receive an error that the parameter is incorrect.

When attempting to connect to the remote computer the following system error occurred:

The parameter is incorrect

This is due to the format of the way you typed the computer name. You must append \\ in front of the computer name similar to the below example. The computer name or IP address must be used in this field as well.
