Why: Recording is not supported in a virtual environment. – GoToMeeting

If you attempt to record your GoToMeeting in Citrix, you see the Record button greyed out and a message is displayed.

Recording is not supported in a virtual environment.

Per Citrix support, your Citrix session must be using Citrix XenDesktop and have MSI support. If you are using Citrix XenApp, audio and recording features will not be supported.
