Did you take a photo with your iPhone and try to edit it but received an error message?

There was an error loading this photo.

If you immediately tried to edit the photo after you took it (edited the photo while it was open in the bottom left corner on screen), try to edit the photo AFTER it is saved in Photos, or go to the photo in photos and edit it from there. This might be a bug in iOS at the moment.
