Trap: Page fault, EIP 0x1 CR2 (Dell Thin Client Error Message – Freezing)

Did you suddenly see an error message freeze your Dell Thin client (Wyse device 3040 and other models). Page fault error’s indicate the Dell Thin Client experienced a bug and requires rebooting it in order for the Thin Client to work again. This may have occurred the result of an incompatible device connected to it, a processes that was running inside your virtual environment, or an incompatible driver.

1. Check the firmware version of your Wyse Device. This is located underneath the page fault error message line, show below.

2. Update your device firmware on Dell’s website.
