Trap: Page fault, EIP 0x1 CR2 (Dell Thin Client Error Message – Freezing)
Did you suddenly see an error message freeze your Dell Thin client (Wyse device 3040 and other models). Page fault error’s indicate the Dell Thin Client experienced a bug and requires rebooting it in order for the Thin Client to work again. This may have occurred the result of an incompatible device connected to it, a processes that was running inside your virtual environment, or an incompatible driver.
- Check the firmware version of your Wyse Device. This is located underneath the page fault error message line, show below.
- Update your device firmware on Dell’s website.
