Fix: Either There is no Default Mail Client or The Current Mail Client – Outlook

While working in Windows, you may receive a message that there is no default mail client set when you launch an application that is requesting access to Microsoft Outlook. The error may read per below.

Microsoft Office Outlook

Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.

 





Set Microsoft Office as Default Mail Client

 

1. Open Windows Control Panel -> Default Programs -> Set Default Programs

 

2. Select Microsoft Outlook under programs Set as Default. Click OK
