Fix: Too Many Different Cell Formats – Excel

While working in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet you may receive the following error.

Too many different cell formats.

1. Download and install XLStylesTool from the Microsoft store here. XLStyles Tool is an Open XML based application, which can analyze and clean out corrupted cell styles in your Excel workbook. XLStyles Tool will also perform analysis of named ranges and report potential issues.

2. Run the tool to look for corrupted file content in your Excel workbook.
