  1. Open Settings on iPhone
  1. Select the Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes & App Store ID your logged in with.
 
  1. Select iCloud.
 
  1. Scroll down to Find My iPhone and enable.

iphone xs max sometimes after unlocking does not switch horizontal to vertical view. I usually end up powering off and on. Latest iOS .12.1.1
