Fix: Access – The Document Caused a Serious Error Last Time It Was Opened
If you attempt to open a Microsoft Access database; you may receive the following error message.
The document “” caused a serious error the last time it was opened. Would you like to continue opening it?
If someone with an older version of Microsoft Access opened and manipulated the database you opened, Access needs to convert the database to be able to open in the current version of Access. Not to worry, the actual database is OK.
