Unsupported 16-bit application windows 10 – FIX

When you launch an application in Windows, you suddenly receive a pop-up message about an unsupported 16-bit Application error.

The program or feature \??\... cannot start or run due to incompatibly with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available.

The Windows path reference is likely to a non-existent path. In addition, the application referenced is likely already a 32 or 64-bit application. This is likely malware or a Trojan virus on your computer that should be removed.

Perform a full virus scan using a trusted free anti-virus program. Some users report Windows defender will not be able to detect this virus, so try with another program.
