Scam: Dear Client Comcast Cable Communications Inc. Congratulations! – Pop-Up Message
Did you browse a website and receive a random pop-up message about being a loyal Comcast Cable customer and about receiving a $1000 gift card? The pop-up message is similar to the below.
Dear client Comcast Cable Communications inc., congratulations!
We would like to thank you for your loyalty to Comcast Cable Communications inc., and thus we offer you an exclusive chance to get an Walmart $1000 Gift Card today – “” All you have to do is choose the correct gift box. Good luck!
The pop-up message contains broken English – the first sign of a scam. In addition, you may notice the URL in your browser is from a walmartt.gift.card.today-lucky.user.info erroneous link. This pop-up message is not legitimate and should be closed immediately when you receive it. The pop-up message is clever because it is able to detect you are browsing from a Xfintiy/Comcast IP address, so this message is likely triggered because of this.
You can only click Close in the pop-up and then it redirects and locks you into a new website page. To get out of this scam close out your browser. You should also reset your browser cache.

I got a similar pop-up from "Charter Communications". Hopefully, clearing the cache will resolve the problem.
