Remove: Using 17.1 Stable While 17.4 Stable is Available – Kodi Auto Update

If you are using Kodi on your Amazon Fire Stick, you may notice a version check message that pops up (sometimes you cannot get out of the message, forcing you to go home) and does not allow you access Kodi anymore.

Version Check

Using 17.1 stable while 17.4 stable is available. A new stable version of Kodi is available.

1. Remove Kodi version checking. Go to Kodi -> Settings -> System Settings -> Add-ons -> Updates and choose (Never Check for Updates).

2. You will no longer see the Kodi Version checker message afterword’s and you can continue using Kodi again.
