Fix: CORBA Initialization Failed Error
In Control-M BMC Workload Automation, you may receive the following error when trying to login.


CORBA Initialization Failed
 
This error can occur for any of the following reasons:
-The CORBA Naming Service Is not running.
-The CORBA Naming Service listening port is blocked by the firewall
-The CORBA configuration file is invalid.




-The network connection is not configuring properly.
[After closing this window, click ‘Advanced’ to modify the CORBA


Solutions:



* Restart the connection server manager service (CMC)

*Ensure the correct users profile is setup with the correct PATH values

*Start the Control-M Agent File Watcher service

*The issue is fixed in XI 3.1, 4.1 and Service Pack 5

Hello,

We have version 8 installed.
I am able to start the COBRA services and able to login, once i get the above error --BUT almost everyday i see these services go down again!! Why?
