Fix: There Isn’t Enough Memory Available to Read Worksheet - PowerPoint

You may receive the following error while working in Microsoft PowerPoint.

There isn’t enough memory available to read Worksheet

The error is most likely related to opening a XLSX spreadsheet object from a PowerPoint spreadsheet. Try saving off the XLSX file from the PowerPoint and then opening the XLSX.

same issue reported 23 August 2017 as opening and saving the XLS does not help. Even re-pasted the embedded excel file and tried to re-open as that didn't work either..any MS fix ??

I am experiencing this. I have 16GB of memory on the laptop and the task manager says it's using only 4GB. Opening a small spreadsheet embedded in a PowerPoint presentation should not take 10 GB of memory
