Fix: Couldn’t Refresh Feed - Instagram

Couldn’t Refresh Feed Instagram

Are you receiving an error trying to load your Instagram feeds on your mobile device? Your Instagram story and feeds do not load and you receive the following error message.

 

Couldn’t Refresh Feed

 
1. Quit the Instagram App and re-open. On iPhone, double click home button and swipe up on Instagram. On Android, use the close all window option and close Instagram.
 
2. Try re-opening the Instagram App and re-loading your feeds.
 
 
If this does not fix it, please post in the comment form below. It may be an issue currently with Instagram and you will be able to see if others are posting the same results.

This message pops up EVERY time I try to use the app regardless if I have good connection or not. I have deleted the entire app and redownloaded it. I have also logged out and logged back in. Neither of these steps have helped.

Mine still doesn’t work (iPhone) especially on wifi. It seems to nicely want me to use my cellular and eat up my plan. Smh. Any idea???

Mine is still not working. I have tried everything. My feed doesn't seem to be loading on the app or on the computer. I get the "couldn't refresh feed" error on my iPhone, and "Sorry we're experiencing a technical error" on the computer. I've tried everything. I've restarted my phone, I've uninstalled and re-installed the app and deleted all the app data, and I've tried resetting my data and wi-fi. I've even run a speed test on my phone to see if it's a network error, but none of that worked. I can view my own profile and search for specific people just fine. Just no feed. Im using 2 accounts within my app. One works just fine and the other one I get that error. I tried everything mentioned above.

Yep same here, over 2 weeks now on my iphone, I created another account on the iphone works just fine, log into my main account cant refresh feed. Ive reported the problem 11 times nothing. Ive deleted the app, changed passwords, I cant even log into it on the desktop I just get the error message that something went wrong.

My Issue seems to be the same as everyone else's on this thread. I first noticed the issue about 10 days ago when out of the blue I was unable to refresh my Instagram news feed on my business profile. It's a white screen with the usual ‘couldn’t refresh feed’ at the top and I am unable to see anyones posts on my news feed. I will point out at this stage everything else in the app works perfectly. I have tried everything that has been suggested online on forums etc and I will list below what I’ve tried so far (in no particular order).

1) Updated Instagram App
2) Deleted app and re-installed it
3) Switched phone off and on again
4) Cleared history and website data (iPhone)
5) Checked all comments and hastags on every post for a double ##
6) Checked all comments for any emojis or symbols that shouldn’t be there
7) Logged in from my desktop computer and ipad, still not able to refresh feed.
8) I have logged into my personal account from the same device with no problems at all.
9) My wifi network and carrier network are fine and I’ve had no problems accessing other websites etc.

Thanks in advance for any help anybody may be able to give, and good luck to all others users in the same boat.

I've ud this in my feed for 5 days. I run multiple accounts and non of the others have this.
I have a few iPhones as well and it's only one accounts that this error shows up.

I've done all the fixes and msgd ig twice with no results.

Someone must have a fox by now!

You guys! I am going through the same thing! Started on Friday and I thought it was a network error while I was in the mountains! I'm home now and my feed is blank. I can see other people's posts, likes, comments and even my own profile, but not my feed! Help!
