Twitter Replies Disappearing
The most recent version of Twitter app hides replies you send directly to other Twitter accounts in your Tweets feed.
As soon as you reply, you will be able to see your Twitter reply under Tweets but it will soon disappear and be moved to Tweets and Replies after some time.
At this time there is no way to change thi behavior.

Tweet replies show up properly in Tweets or Tweets and Replies but appear in the expanded recipients tweet to which the reply was made only while the tweet remains expanded. The tweet reply is no longer present upon immediate return to the expanded recipient tweet though it is still visible in Tweets or Tweets and Replies.
