Waze – Downloading Language…
Whenever you update the Waze app, Waze will automatically download new language updates the next time you open the app. These are new or updated language settings the Waze app uses.
Some have noticed that when Waze attempts to download new languages, the app my become hung or the prompt does not disappear after a while. If this is happening to you, try the following below.
- Quit / re-open Waze.
- Uninstall and re-install Waze.
Note: Before uninstalling Waze, take note of your account information if you signed up using a Waze account. You can find this in settings -> account & login.
