Fix: Authorization Failed – Pinterest
Are you trying to log into your Pinterest app on iPhone or Android, or did you recently log off Pinterest and the app home screen is showing and Authorization Failed message continuously? The screen blinks on and off with this message and you can’t select login to the app or get to anything else on the screen.
Quitting the Pinterest app (swiping up on Pinterest from iPhone home screen) does not fix the Pinterest authorization failed message from appearing. In order to be able to login to Pinterest again, you must delete the Pinterest app and reinstall it.
This issue seems to be related to some type of corruption with the most recent version of Pinterest. Let us know if this worked for you.

How to correct it on a PC? Can't really delete an app.
That error was driving me insane, couldn't figure out the problem for the life of me.

I deleted the pinterest app and then reinstalled it.
The authorization failed message is gone

I'm having this issue on my PC using firefox. I log in and can see my boards for a few seconds before the Authentication Failed error pops up. I tried using a different browser to sign in, but when I do it's a like brand new account - all my pins, boards and followers are missing. HELP?!?
This is still ongoing on pc and android phones irrespective of internet browser used. Can someone help remove authentication failure error?

This has not corrected my problem. I've removed the application and re-loaded, but each time I now open the application it keeps flashing and says Authorisation Failed. Really annoying.
