Why: You do not have the Necessary Permission for the Specified Page to Perform the Requested Action

You do not have the Necessary Permission for the Specified Page to Perform the Requested Action

Did you just receive an error message when browsing to a Facebook web page (perhaps a Facebook Fan Page), and you did nothing to invoke it? The error message is below.

Insufficient Permission

You do not have the necessary permission for the specified Page to perform the requested action.

Some have suggested online to clear your browser cache and cookies – but this does not fix error from re-appearing. From others reporting the error online, it is most likely because of Facebook releasing new beta features on pages you can’t see and otherwise would not have access too.

Even though I get this message, It still hides the specific post.
Which makes it even weirder.

This message keeps coming up on EVERY post I try to hide or share!! WHY?? I did not have this problem last time I logged in at 8am this morning (now it is 5pm central time).
So what is going on and how do I fix it?? Or is this some kind of a scam??

Me too. Just started today after one of Windows 10's many unwanted updates. Did you find a workaround?
