This Page Isn’t Eligible to Have a Username Facebook Fix

If you are trying to create a custom URL username for your Facebook page (see our article), you may receive a message that prevents you from changing your page @username.

Username Isn’t Available

This Page isn’t eligible to have a username.

You receive this error for the following reasons.

  1. Your Facebook Page is new and does not have at least 25 page likes.

  1. You are not an Admin on the page your trying to create a username for. Some online stated that adding another Admin to the page allows them to create a custom URL username successfully.

  1. In some cases, you may need verify your Facebook page first. You may need to verify your Facebook Page if another duplicate page already exists (even if you did not create the other page).

If you are experiencing the same issue creating a custom URL username for your Facebook Page, please use the comment form to let us know and if you have found a different solution than mentioned above.
